So here's my new room. Yes, I am claiming it for myself. I'm selfish. The kids want to use it as a playroom but they are getting one of those as the renovation progresses. So it's all mine, I tell you!
This room used to be the darkest room in the house. In order to maximize the limited light, we painted the room white from top to bottom. Then we sprinted down to IKEA and snapped up the bookcases, desk and drawers. To spice things up a bit we also picked up this zesty orange sofa and colorful rug.
I'm so loving this room. It's bright and cheerful and everything is in order. Just as I like it.

Don't let the kids in unless they promised to not
touch anything, to wear only socks and to have washed their hands before entering LOL
Actually, since we don't wear shoes indoors, dirt hasn't been an issue. Lisa, that is a cabinet with sliding doors. We're going to install some lighting underneath
at some point.
I love it!
It is such a bright and happy space. You have a gift. You can tell everything was
meticulously thought of, without looking like it was. I don't know if I make any sense at all.
And you totally deserve a room of your own.
