Shipping Container Guest House

I can not even begin to put into words how much I love this Texas guest house made from a shipping container. So I won't even try. You can read more about and see loads more pictures at Dwell.

I think it looks really awesome. But I get skeeved out staying in any place with large windows that I can't cover. Love that the roof is covered with plants! And! I adore the orange accents!

I am in love. It must have been hard to pick which pic to put here. So many great views in the slideshow! Love it!

SPM, you could use some sleek modern curtains.

It was difficult, Wren. Imagine what you could do with just a few of these attached together. It's like building with Legos.

Oh, that is too cute! See now sometimes I really regret letting my Dwell subscription lapse.

Here in Germany (I don't understand exactly what they were telling me, but this is the gist...), you are required to plant *something* on top of flat roofs. Or, at the very least, put lots of little rocks for drainage. Or something. But, the effect is little planted tops of garages and sheds all over the place! So cute.

It reminds me of those little houses in Norway with grass roofs. So pretty.
